I am very excited about our upcoming art exhibition from ARTS for ALL Wisconsin. The exhibition includes 30 outstanding works that travel throughout the state each year and will be on display now through December in our Hickory meeting room. Founded in 1985, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin is a statewide nonprofit organization that expands the capabilities, confidence, and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities by providing programs in dance, drama, creative writing, music, and visual art.
If you’re reading your paper before 10 am this morning (Thursday, 10/17/19) and decide you want some coffee and community time, come on over to the library for a special Thursday Morning Conversations with Vicki Rhine of ASTOP. Vicki will be here to talk about putting A Stop to Sexual Assault and how we can assist survivors, treatment options, outreach services, and prevention. Vicki and ASTOP emphasize hope and connecting to self and others.
