Would you like to see newly released movies on the big screen with free popcorn? Join us in the lower level of the library on Thursdays at 2pm to do just that! On September 15th we’re showing Where the Crawdads Sing. Next week on September 22nd, the movie will be Vengeance.
Starting Monday, September 19th at 10am we will be hosting Stroll & Stay, a fun way to exercise and socialize with neighbors. Parents and caregivers from newborns to toddlers are invited to meet at the library for a stroll around town – anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour depending upon the choice of the group. After the stroll we will have a light snack and open play time available for the littles back at the library.
Just before the Golden Days Harvest Fest at the end of the month (and two days of the Friends Book Sale to enjoy), we’re having a Happy Apple Crafts & Snacks Day at the library to get in the harvest feeling. Stop in on Thursday, September 22nd from 10am-noon and create your own apple stamped flag with us. There will be time to munch on some apple snacks and enjoy some cider while you create a fun fall craft to wave at the parade or while walking around town during Golden Days Harvest Festival.
