Back to School

With fall nearly here, the television studios are putting out last season’s shows on DVD – just in time for you to reacquaint yourself with characters and story lines before the new series begin. August has already been full of new purchases, and September looks to be just as busy. Stop in and enjoy the many binge-worthy selections.

As some of you head off to do your last-minute school supply shopping, please don’t overlook one of the best tools to give your students – a library card. Not only will your students be able to access books and movies here at the Caestecker Library, but their library card also works in libraries through the Winnefox system. Library card holders can access useful (and teacher-approved) databases ranging from biographies to medical research to country studies, right from home or the library, simply by visiting the library website and clicking on research at the top of the page. Best of all, all these resources are available free of charge 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Think of your library card as your very own research assistant, eager to help you do well in school.

For caregivers with younger kiddos, come visit with Ms. Margie for Storytime on Wednesday mornings at 10:00. Every Storytime is a little different and there may be singing, crafts, laughs, and engaging stories with all the voices.

If you find you need a break from the hustle and bustle, make your way over today, August 26 at 2:00 pm for a viewing of Another Round. Then on Thursday, September 2 at 2 pm, we will be showing the newest rendition of Emma. For the full schedule of Return to the Oscars movies, visit
