Every second Thursday of the month from 10 am–3 pm, bring your sewing machine, materials, embroidery, and whatever project you’re currently working on or dreaming about to gather and focus on making that dream a reality at Sit & Stitch. All skill levels are welcome, and help will be available for beginners. Come and go as you please during the day or visit a local restaurant for a to-go lunch and keep working on your projects all day long. The next group meeting is January 12th.

On Saturday, January 14 from 9am-1pm is your next chance to shop the Friends Book Sale in the lower level of the library. This is the last book sale until March. It’s a new year and there are new books to be had! Start the new year off right with gently used books, movies, music, puzzles, and more from the Friends of the Caestecker Public Library.

Bug Tussel University will be hosting a series of technology help classes at the library this year. On Sunday, January 15 from 2-3pm in the Hickory meeting room come have Fun with Photos. You’re invited to learn how to manage photos on your smartphone, including how to upload photos to social media, send pictures to friends and family, and save and edit your photos. Bring your smartphone with you for some hands-on practice. All classes are free and no sign up is required. If you’re not able to make the class call the library to set up an appointment for one-on-one tech help at 920-294-3572.
