Thursday movie matiness will resume in November. Visit the library at 2pm on the following dates to enjoy free popcorn and newly released movies on our big screen. Mark your calendars for Barbie on November 9th, Mission: Impossible and Dead Reckoning on November 16th. If you aren’t able to make it to one of the showings but would really like to see the movie, we can place a hold for you to checkout the DVD to view at home.
The annual Green Lake Keep the Cheer Here Cookie Walk will be held November 25 from 11am-2pm. The library will have tins to sell in advance of the event and have some of the best homemade cookies made by our Friends of the Library bakers to pick up during the walk. Cookie tins are $10 each and can be purchased at the front desk.
We’re also gearing up for the Angel Tree program, starting later this month. Any gifts purchased can be returned to the library unwrapped by December 8th. The library also continues to be a Green Lake Food Pantry drop-off location. The need for all of these programs continues to be great, and we are happy to play a part.
