It’s the time of year for counting one’s blessings, and we have many for which to be thankful here at the library. We appreciate the smiles, the words of encouragement, the donations of time and books and money we receive throughout the year. It takes a community to make a good library, and we want everyone to know of our gratitude. Thank you, one and all.

As we head into the busy holiday season, the library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the Sunday after (11/26) to allow staff and volunteers to spend the day with loved ones. We will reopen at 9:00 Friday morning, allowing those early bird shoppers plenty of time to find all the best Black Friday sales before swinging by the library on their way home. Saturday, November 25th the library will have extended hours from 9am-2pm as we are a stop on the Keep the Cheer Here Cookie Walk that day. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Christmas books and movies are out on display and ready to cozy up with as the days get chillier. The Friends are having a merry-making Book Sale on Wednesday, December 6 from 1 pm—4 pm, with loads of great books, movies, puzzles, and games ready to be stocking stuffers and presents.
