The Winnefox App is back! Use the app to search for materials, place holds, renew items, link family cards, and more. If you’ve been enjoying streaming movies via Kanopy and hoping there were some more kid friendly options, we now have access to Kanopy Kids for read-along storybooks and movies! If you need to download either app visit the Apple or Google Play store on your device. Have your library card handy and follow the prompts on screen. We’re always happy to answer any questions and get you set up with library apps. If you need any help, we’ll see you soon at the library!
Another reason to visit the library soon is that we have some terrific artwork on display in the Hickory meeting room for the month of April. Pat Dobrinska’s adult art students have their annual show ready for viewing, and we have a wonderful range of paintings.
We would like to send out many thanks to those who shopped at last Wednesday’s book sale and for those who donated to the sale previously. According to the Friends, the book sale was a resounding success. If you haven’t been to our book sales in a while or want to check out the new donations, the next opportunity is Saturday, April 13th, 9:00 am to noon.

The trivia contest scheduled in March was postponed until Sunday, April 21 from 2-4:00 PM to give more time for folks to sign up. Your $5 entry fee goes to the Friends of the Library to help support future library programming. Grab a friend or seven, come up with a team name, sign up your team at the library, and get ready to impress your neighbors with your knowledge of books, authors, and how libraries work. It might sound like a tall order, but we promise you know more than you think. Laughs are guaranteed, as are snacks.
