Thank you to everyone who stopped and shopped at the Friends Spring Book Sale during Green Lake’s garage sales last weekend – through your efforts over $1150 was raised to support library programs and collections. We are so glad you made us part of your weekend plans.
Hand craft enthusiasts have two opportunities coming up to gather and create. The library Sit & Stitch group meets on Thursday, May 9 from 10 am – 3 pm to work on embroidery, quilts, or mending. Please bring your own sewing machine and materials. The library Knitting Group meets every Monday from 10 am- noon. While knitting is in the title, all needlework or fiber arts are welcome at any skill level. Please bring your own projects, but the laughter and conversation are free.
Whether you’re a voracious reader or just looking for a peaceful afternoon activity, our Silent Reader Book Club welcomes you with open pages. Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2 pm-4 pm. Bring your own reading material or browse the shelves to join us with your new pick on Wednesday, May 15 at 2 pm in the reading area near the fireplace.
