We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Norm Sonderman on March 10, 2025. Norm was a valued member of the Caestecker Public Library team since 2013, serving as our building custodian. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes, keeping our library clean, setting up meeting rooms for events, clearing snow and ice from our sidewalks, and skillfully tending our demonstration vegetable gardens. Norm loved this library and the community that makes it so special. He will be greatly missed.

There are many events and resources to be found on the library’s website. One upcoming event is sure to brighten your world: Pat Dobrinska’s art students will have their work on display in the main level meeting room in April. There is an artists’ reception scheduled for Tuesday, April 1st, from 4-5:30 p.m. Stop in and say hello to your talented friends and neighbors and admire their latest pieces.
