During the week you can look forward to having Earth Day themed crafts and information at the library starting on Wednesday the 20th.  We are still hoping that our Red Oak seedlings arrive in time to celebrate Earth Day on Friday, April 22, but they may be delayed due to this chilly weather. Once the trees do arrive, each family is welcome to adopt one two-year-old Red Oak tree to plant and watch grow over the years.

There are still a few spaces in our upcoming free Heartsaver Adult and Infant/Child CPR course with certified CPR instructor Beth MacGowan on Saturday, April 30 from 9 am-noon. Although the course is free, if you need CPR certification for your job, registration costs $20 through the American Heart Association. Please stop by the library, send us a message, or give us a call to get on the list.

Our last book sale for the month will be Saturday, April 23, from 9 am to 1 pm. We’ve had a large donation of puzzles and games, along with carts and carts of books. You just never know what new treasure you might find at the Caestecker Friends Book Sale!
