We hope you stop by the library during the holidays so we can give you our warmest holiday greetings in person, but in case you will be traveling or otherwise busy, please know that we appreciate your visits and support all throughout the year.

If you’re visiting with family or friends and the talk turns to family or local history, our archives of microfilm were digitized earlier in the year. You can now access digital editions of the Green Lake County Reporter from 1919-2005 and a variety of other local papers and census records in fully key word searchable format online. Princeton Public Library and Ripon Public Library also just shared the great news that their digitized microfilm collection is live, and it’s all hosted online in the same place as our collection. Visit – https://archives.winnefox.org directly or find it pinned to the top of our website to search a treasure trove of local Wisconsin history.

The library will be closed several days this weekend to allow staff and volunteers time with their loved ones. We are open Friday, December 23 as usual (9:00 – 6:00), then closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We reopen Tuesday morning at 9:00 for all your post-holiday reading, listening, relaxing, and viewing pleasure. From all of us at the Caestecker Public library, we hope you have a very merry and safe Christmas!

As an early Christmas present, the Friends of the Library have announced their first book sale for 2023 will be Saturday, January 14 from 9 am – 1 pm. Mark your calendar!
