Have you ever wanted to learn to knit but didn’t want to purchase the supplies or just didn’t even know where to begin? Come visit with the Knitting Group at the Caestecker Public Library every Monday from 10am-noon to get a start on a new hobby you just might fall in love with. The Knitters have their own collection of materials, books, projects, and magazines that they are ready to share with people interested in learning how to knit. All skill levels are invited to attend, and the group has a lot of experience to share. If crocheting is more your style, you’re welcome to visit with the Knitters and enjoy the company and crafting.

If you’re looking for opportunities to spend time with the kids or grandkids, try Play & Build on Tuesdays from 10am-noon. There’s a wide variety of open-ended play opportunities for newborns to 6-year-olds to learn the skills of early literacy, problem solving, sharing, and working within groups. The large area in the Burr Oak room also provides space for the little ones to burn off some energy in the winter months. Children must always be supervised by their caregivers, but it’s a great way to meet other local families and neighbors. Come play and build friendships, block towers, muscles, skills, and confidence!

Every Wednesday morning starting at 10:00, kiddos and caregivers are invited to Storytime by the boat for an all hands on deck swashbuckling storytelling adventure. Play and social time, stories, songs, and crafts, make for a fun and fulfilling morning and we’re always excited to see new faces and families.

Registration is open now to discover rockets, astronauts, and space exploration as we build a model rockets out of marshmallows with the Green Lake County 4-H Club on Wednesday, March 28 @ 3:45 pm.
