Make plans now to celebrate with us on Saturday, June 22 as we remember the life and legacy of Thomas E. Caestecker. Thirty years ago, Thomas E. Caestecker gave the City of Green Lake and the Town of Brooklyn the library building on Hill Street, a truly spectacular gift. Generations of residents and visitors have benefited from Mr. Caestecker’s generosity, and we plan to continue providing educational and entertainment opportunities for decades to come.
There will be stories told and memories shared. Gratitude for what we have and excitement over plans for things to come. Food and drink to commemorate the “founder of our feast”–for what is a library but a place to satisfy one’s appetite for stories and information?
All are invited. All are welcome. Please join us at the library – 518 Hill Street- from 2:00-4:00 pm on the 22nd. We hope to see you then.
